The Land's End Peninsula is an ancient landscape with prehistoric and historic monuments.  There is no better place for walking as there are Rights of Way footpaths over the whole area, including the Cornwall Coastal Footpath.  Surfing, Windsurfing and Sailing are popular local water sports; there are excellent facilities and expert tuition.
